Pick-Up Procedures: Airlines & Terminals
Each NYC airport has different procedures for arriving customers getting picked up by a taxi, ride share or black car service. Dial 7’s dispatch center is in constant communication with the multiple airports serving the New York City area, ensuring each text message or email sent can perfectly fit into our clients pick-up specifications (airline + arrival time + terminal).
In the first part of this article we answered general questions about Dial 7’s Airport Car Service and Pick Up procedures. In this second part we are going to cover the pick-up locations of each airport, airline, terminal and meeting point of the multiple airports we serve.
How is the process for a MEET and GREET?
If you book for a Meet and Greet (Select 7 Town Car or SUV), our dispatch team will monitor the flight and dispatch the driver for the exact landing time. Passengers arriving on domestic flights have 30 minutes of free wait time while those on international flights have 45 minutes before wait time charges become applicable. The wait time fee will depend on the vehicle booked and is prorated to the minute. For Select 7 Town Cars it is $52 per hour and for the SUV it is $75 per hour.
John F. Kennedy Airport (JFK):
Dial 7 may pick up passengers at any arrival or terminal point. Since our chauffeurs have to wait in a specific designated area, passengers must confirm the pick-up once their luggage has been retrieved from baggage claim. Reply to the email or text message and you will receive an email or text message with a curbside meeting point.
